She's reported on the sports scene for major media outlets around the globe. The journalist spent more than a decade writing about various sports on behalf of The Washington Post, including tennis, football, and basketball. In 2004, Nichols moved on to ESPN for a nine-year run during which she was awarded 2 Emmy Awards and appeared on many of the network's most frequented shows such as SportsCenter as well as NFL Countdown. She also worked as the correspondent of Monday Night Football on the network. Her next assignment was CNN as well as Turner Sports.
