Rene Marie Russo was an American actor, filmmaker and supermodel. Famous for her stunning beauty, her endurance in the demanding film industry shows her talents and abilities as an actress. Her career began as a model during the 1970s, but soon she became one of the most well-known models. She studied acting and theatre from the beginning of the decade. She then appeared on stages in Los Angeles, and other regions of California. in 1987 Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell in the ABC drama Sable. She played Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut movie. Initially skeptical about her capability in the field of acting, critics were won over because of her tenacity. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was particularly admired by people who were critical of her performance, because she stood tall against Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. But she admitted that she is not passionate about the acting. In 2005, she took a long self-imposed break. After that, she staged a comeback in Thor. In addition, she appeared in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler that was written and directed by her husband. The Intern was her first funny and lighthearted film. She went on to be in Just Getting Started and other comedy films.

Rose Namajunas is one of the most popular female athletes within the UFC. Her career began in amateur fighting, where she competed for various regional promotions. Then she enlisted with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Namajunas has earned a great deal of fame since joining the UFC thanks to her on and off the octagon's success. Namajunas was born on the 29th of June 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing throughout her growing to maturity. Her first appearance professionally at 18 years old for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two matches by submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at age 22, Rose was signed by the UFC's strawweight Division. Her career has had extremes, as well as lows however she has always been successful in coming out of the fight on top. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. Rose won the bout through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes after the start of the round. It was the first female to fight for a title title with any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas continued to win many more victories, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
