Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop music after getting the public's attention through her hit songs "Starry Eyed,"" as well as "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and capacity to create catchy and deeply honest songs place her on the frontline of contemporary mainstream music as well as arty and independent pop. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she started preparing for the debut album.
